NefroCenter arrives at Silicon Valley with a health-tech startup in the artificial intelligence field

NefroCenter has been selected, with its startup specialized in predictive AI algorithms in the medical field, to access Phase 2 of the Startup Bootcamp program promoted by the INNOVIT Innovation Center in San Francisco, Silicon Valley. That’s a result that confirms the scientific value and the innovative potential of the health-tech project.

The program includes participation in an intensive on-site program in Silicon Valley, dedicated to the development of innovative projects.

The Bootcamp Startup program is aimed at startups and innovative projects in the early stages of development and offers consulting, mentoring, application workshops, meetings with investors, and networking opportunities with international companies, universities, and research centers, encouraging the development of collaborations and access to global markets.

This choice for NefroCenter represents a significant step in the group’s international growth, and it strengthens its commitment to promoting research, technological innovation, and the development of advanced AI solutions for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of nephrological and metabolic diseases.

The participation at the program will allow for a deeper understanding of innovation models applied to healthcare, an acceleration of the development of research projects and a strengthening of the relationships with international scientific and industrial partners helping to bring increasingly advanced skills, technologies and vision to the Italian healthcare system.

The NefroCenter Research Division was founded in 2016 as a research center in the medical field and it integrates multidisciplinary skills in the fields of nephrology, diabetology and the study of cardio-metabolic diseases, with activities ranging from the prevention and treatment of kidney disease and diabetes to the management of advanced chronic kidney disease, dialysis and follow-up of transplant patients and metabolic diseases.

Through observational and translational clinical research projects, NefroCenter works with the aim of improving the quality of care and improving clinical protocols for these pathologies, contributing to the development of increasingly effective and patient-centered care models and personalized medicine.

Over the years, NefroCenter has developed collaborations with scientific and academic institutions, including universities (Università Federico II di Napoli, Unviersità degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Università La Sapienza di Roma) and national research centers (CNR), thus strengthening the group’s ability to innovate.
