Its scope is extremely broad and includes primary prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of conditions, from arterial hypertension to ischemic heart disease, from arrhythmias to heart failure. The diagnostic process utilizes a range of non-invasive instrumental examinations, such as resting and stress Electrocardiogram (ECG) to evaluate the heart&#8217;s electrical activity, cardiac and blood pressure Holter monitoring for 24-hour dynamic monitoring, and Echocardiography with EcoColorDoppler for morphological and functional assessment of the heart muscle, valves, and major vessels. For coronary diseases, the pathway may require complex interventional procedures, performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, such as coronary angiography for diagnosis and angioplasty with stent implantation for treatment.
