Psychology and Neuropsychiatry

Mental health and neurodevelopmental support for adults and children. We offer psychotherapy, psychological counseling, assessment and treatment of Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) with WISC testing. Child Neuropsychiatry manages neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism, ADHD) in collaboration with speech therapists and neuropsychomotor therapists.

This integrated service offers comprehensive and specialized support for mental health, psychological well-being, and neurodevelopmental issues management across all age groups, from childhood through adulthood and senior years. The Clinical Psychology services include psychodiagnostic assessments (through interviews and tests), individual, couple, and family psychological counseling, and psychotherapy to address a wide range of emotional, relational, and behavioral difficulties, including anxiety disorders (panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety), depression, mood disorders, eating disorders, and difficulties related to stressful life events or trauma. A specialized area is dedicated to developmental age. Here, Child Neuropsychiatry handles the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders (such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD – Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD – dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, dyscalculia), through the use of specific tests (such as the WISC scale) and the development of multimodal treatment plans. This occurs in close collaboration with other essential professionals such as Speech Therapists (for rehabilitation of language and communication disorders) and Developmental Neuropsychomotor Therapists, ensuring a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach for the child and their family.
